2009 - Show Details

Here's what you missed in 2009...

The first annual Winchester Food and Produce show was a celebration of food and produce grown and cooked in and around the Winchester district.

The show was hosted by the Winchester Guildhall were a variety of exhibitions and stalls including:

  • Cookery demonstrations - see the Demonstrations page
  • A chance to participate in tasting sessions
  • Opportunities for all the family to enter competitions

Added bonuses included:

  • A chance to ride on a Vintage bus - provided courtesy of Friends of King Alfred's Buses. Picking up from Winchester Park & Ride and dropping off at the Winchester Guildhall.
  • The Mayor of Winchester was at the show from 11am until 12pm.
  • The Hampshire Farmers' Market - the largest farmers' market in the UK - was also to be held on 26 July 2009.
