Hampshire Food Festival
Winchester Food & Produce Show is one of the highlights of The 2009 Hampshire Food Festival, which runs from 1 – 31 July. Throughout the month over 140 different events, held at dozens of venues across Hampshire, celebrate local food and farming.

During July’s Hampshire Food Festival join workshops and master classes in making sausages, jam, chutney and chocolate as well as bee-keeping and growing your own veg; hands-on cookery classes for adults and children; a smokery demo and tastings; vineyard, vegetable, lavender, cheese, water buffalo and organic farm tours; orchard, brewery and kitchen garden walks; summer BBQs and jazz, Hampshire hog roasts, wine tasting and beer festivals; gourmet dinners, cream teas and local lunches. Watch cookery demos by Hampshire chefs. 'Celebrity' chefs taking part include The Hairy Bikers, Rose Elliot, Atul Kochhar and Valentina Harris. Raymond Blanc has given his support by writing the foreword to the Festival programme.
Hampshire Food Festival visitors can win two nights dinner, bed and breakfast for two at the 4* Tylney Hall Hotel, a bespoke fruit and vegetable garden design worth £1500, a luxury hamper of Hampshire goodies or the opportunity to ‘Be a Brewer for the Day’ at Ringwood Brewery. Children have the chance to win an afternoon with the chefs at Hotel du Vin Winchester!
